The Rosales Mejía family acquired it in 1998. It had been a cattle farm, and in 1999 they began the coffee project, planting trees and protecting the water sources.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePart of the estate is kept as conserved forest. The coffee is processed on the farm itself, with wet milling in its own facilities and washing without recirculated water.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNahualli is a washed Caturra, designed for espresso.
