It is owned by Jean Paul, who has 20 years of experience in coffee, and run by his wife, Pacifique Uwicyeza, formerly with the Ministry of Agriculture. The station trains farmers, employs young people and challenges traditional gender roles in farming.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCherries are selected and washed, fermented for two days in sacks, and dried on raised beds for 48 to 54 days.
