The story behind Miraluna

From the mountains of Apaneca-Ilamatepec , in the western part of El Salvador, comes this exceptional lot grown at Finca Miramar , owned by Andrés Salaverría , fifth generation of a coffee-growing family with more than 100 years of tradition.

After completing his training at the Ernesto Illy Coffee University , Andrés returned to the country to lead a new phase of the family farm, introducing controlled fermentation techniques and cutting-edge processes.

The Natural Anaerobic “Sleeping Bag” process combines cherry fermentation with prolonged and uniform drying, intensifying the nuances of red currant, strawberry and peach , accompanied by a honey and light caramel sweetness and a dark chocolate finish.
