The story behind Miraluna

From the mountains of Apaneca-Ilamatepec , in the western part of El Salvador, comes this exceptional lot grown at Finca Miramar , owned by Andrés Salaverría , fifth generation of a coffee-growing family with more than 100 years of tradition.

After his training at the Ernesto Illy Coffee University , Andrés returned to the country to lead a new stage on the family farm, incorporating controlled fermentation techniques and innovative processes to raise the quality and sensory expression of Salvadoran coffee.

The Natural Anaerobic “Sleeping Bag” process combines prolonged cherry fermentation with uniform and slow drying.
This method intensifies notes of red fruits and peach , accompanied by sweetness of honey and light caramel , and a deep finish of dark chocolate .
