The story behind Acatenango

In the Fraijanes region of Guatemala, this coffee is grown by Mariano Ventura at El Chorro, where altitude and climate work together to slow the ripening of the cherry.

The natural sleeping bag process concentrates sugars and aromatic compounds during drying, producing a more complex cup with greater fruit intensity and an enveloping texture.
