The story behind Nyura

From the hills of Kizi Rift, in the coffee-growing district of Nyaruguru, comes this Rwandan gem: a coffee produced at the Fugi washing station, operated by Emmanuel Rusatira and his team at Baho Coffee .

Emmanuel, with over 15 years of experience in the sector and a deep commitment to empowering Rwandan coffee farmers, founded Baho Coffee to transform the coffee industry in his country. Today, he manages 12 washing stations and works closely with small producers who grow their coffee at altitudes between 1,550 and 1,850 meters above sea level.

Nyura stands out for its anaerobic fermentation and air-drying using the sleeping bag technique, which intensifies its vibrant profile, with pronounced notes of blueberry, raspberry, hibiscus, and raisin .
